Ananta Gameplay Trailer - Everything We Learned | Heet Gaming

The new Ananta gameplay trailer is here, and… WOW. It’s a full 7 minutes of pure chaos and style, set in a fast-paced, open-world that feels like a rich cocktail of GTA, Batman, Watch Dogs, Cyberpunk, and Spider-Man games.

From wild street action to random funny moments, developer Naked Rain (in partnership with NetEase) has really delivered a knockout showcase of Ananta gameplay.

My Ananta Review Based on the Trailer

Right at the trailer's start, we are shown all the major gameplay traversal mechanics in Ananta. From riding all sorts of transports and gliding/swinging through the endless skies to cruising motorboats on the seas and participating in different sports, you can do literally everything in the game.

The game’s bustling metropolis is as active during the night as it is during the day. Not only do you get to squad up with your teammates during missions, but you can also hang out with them, going places like shopping malls, beaches, nightclubs, parks, all the while taking pictures and selfies to save precious memories.

But the Ananta trailer is not all sunshine and rainbows. While everything looks good on the outside, sinister activities are happening all around the metropolis of Nova Inception Urbs. In the game, you take on the role of a captain of a special task force to save the world from impending chaos.

The latest Ananta gameplay trailer does a good job at showcasing the game’s combat fluidity. Each character has access to their own unique arsenal of weapons in addition to using golf clubs and trash bins… yes, really!

The game environment is highly interactive and dynamic. You can use pretty much everything to your advantage, giving you plenty of ways to win in combat. Precise dodging and blocking to counterattack enemies feels as intuitive and exhilarating as it does in crafting unique strategies to defeat your enemies.

While your primary character is the captain of the task force, you can freely switch between other squad members on your team and explore their unique storylines and urban lives. We even see a glimpse of the personal lives of each of these characters in the Ananta gameplay trainer. One is a cop, one is a hacker, one is a delivery person, and one is a live-streamer!

Interestingly, the character switching animations play out in pretty much the same way as it does in GTA V, while combat mechanics feels similar to Batman. Naked Rain has definitely taken inspiration from Spider-Man when it comes to web swinging and Watch Dogs when it comes to shutting down the city’s electrical infrastructure.

I really hope devs are able to pull this through. I’m really looking forward to this Ananta game. What’s good to know is that the RPG will be free-to-play with all characters unlocked. Monetization will be achieved via in-game cosmetics.
